M.S. 88 Girls Basketball
M.S. 88 Girls Basketball is finally here! There will be two teams, one for beginners at basketball, who are looking for a fun and active after-school program, called Power Play, and another for those who are more advanced and looking for a competitive travel league. Both teams will practice, so all levels are welcomed and encouraged. So strap on your basketball sneakers and come meet us in the gym!

LEGO Robotics

Biomimicry
Middle School 88 is partnering with graduate students at the Polytechnic Institute at NYU to investigate “Biomimicry Engineering”, which is essentially engineering robots that build a robotic fish that can be used to study fish behavior and mimic animal behavior.

Craft Squad
This after school class will have students creating a variety of crafts including decoupage (collage) and paper crafts, cross stitching, felt and fabric craft, stuffed animal making and 3-D collage. Crafters will increase their craft know-how and technical skills while creating decorative works of art. There will be an emphasis on repurposing and upcycling everyday found materials into unique creative expressions.
