- On the week of December 7th, the NYC DOE mailed welcome letters to all current eighth-grade students at their home address according to ATS.
- Each welcome letter will have instructions on how to add your child to their MySchools account using their unique account creation code. Didn’t get your letter in the mail?
- You can find your child’s Account Creation Code here by looking across from their OSIS number.
- The school also has access to these letters digitally if you do not receive them in the mail or cannot find the Creation Code with the link above.
- Here’s how to create your MySchools Account, where you can get set up to use your child’s Creation Code to start the High School Application Process.
- Go to www.myschools.nyc
- Click or tap “Get Started.” Follow the on-screen instruction.
- Then check your email for a message from MySchools.
- In that email, click the link to access your MySchools account.
- Click “Add a child” to connect your child to your account.
- On the next screen, enter your child’s 9- digit student ID number (OSIS).
- Enter your child’s unique MySchools Account Creation Code.
- While it is exciting that you will be able to create your MySchools account with your creation code, the high school application and Specialized High Schools registration will not be open when welcome letters become available so you will only be able to create the account at https://myschools.nyc/schools/high-school and not yet start the application process in the account until further updates become available.
