Below, you will find your student’s class placement. The 1st number is your grade level, the second number is your house placement, the 3rd number is your class.
1 = SISTA House
2 = SMART House
3 = Medical House
4 = Dual Language

Opening Day Procedures
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, please take note of the following opening day procedures:
- Our school day begins promptly at 8:20AM.
- Our doors will open for students at 8:15AM.
- Students should enter the school by grade:
- 6th grade will enter through the courtyard on 19th street.
- 7th grade will enter through Exit “D” on 19th street.
- 8th grade will enter through exit “A” on 18th street.
- If your child wishes to have breakfast in the morning, we will begin accepting students for breakfastat 7:45AM using the courtyard entrance.
- On the first day of school, teachers and staff will be outside each entrance to guide students to their 1st period class.
- Our school day ends at 2:40PM. Students will dismiss by grade using the same entrances/exit they use for arrival.
New York State ‘Distraction-Free Schools’ Policy
· No personal smart device use during school hours — Smartphones, smartwatches, and other internet-enabled devices are prohibited “bell to bell,” including class, lunch, hallways, and bathrooms.
· Only approved devices allowed — Basic cell phones must stay off and out of sight; school-issued devices are for instructional use only under staff supervision.
· Exceptions for specific needs — Device use permitted only for medical monitoring, IEP accommodations, or essential translation tools for English Language Learners.
